Swear Swear Swear

I am quite appalled at the infrequency of which I blog. In all honesty I greatly enjoy blogging; it's very therapeutic, hence the reason I am typing this up as my grandmother drives down i-70 w to Utah. The first 23 hours of driving were not so bad, but these last three have about killed me. I am literally going insane. I love my dear grandmother, but if she questions the GPS one more time I may kill over. Really.

Never again will I be phased by her comments on my driving.

The first day of travel everything looked the same. Anywhere USA. Today, however, things began to change. First there was Kansas….wow, what on earth do those people do??! Gosh that was the most boring stretch of country I've ever seen! (Minus the windmills..those were frighteningly huge :/ the oilrigs were pretty interesting as well). Then came Colorado. At first Colorado was much the same as Kansas (aka boooorrrrinnng), but then…..I saw my first tumble weed! That's right, they do exist! (My dear friend Jessica will appreciate my astonishment). Then we caught a glimpse of the mountains! Hallelujah! We were saved from death my boredom. Or so we thought…

They never end!

Oh the Colorado Mountains, how beautiful, how pristine, how majestic….how ongoing! It felt like we were driving through those things forever. Don't get me wrong, they were beautiful, but there is only so much twisting, winding, forcedtodrivethespeedlimit roads I can handle. So that was fun.

Colorado River! I think.

Now, I believe, we are in Utah. However, I cannot confirm this fact because it is rather dark outside..and we still have like THREE HOURS till we arrive in Provo..sighh. But as soon as I get there I will post this and add amusing little pictures for your enjoyment.

Note the amusing pictures, I hope that you enjoyed them.

Okay I must confess…it was a good four days before I posted this. Horrible blogging, I know, but alas I did get it up. Now I am off to complain to my apartment people and turn in job apps! X <<fingers crossed!
